MOTHER’S DAY

This year Mother’s Day is on May 10th. It will be the first Mother’s Day for me without my mom.  She passed away in October of last year; it feels so strange.  I have heard it many times before – “you don’t miss something until you don’t have it anymore.”   Teresa and I have lost both of our parents, so we are the senior generation now.  I think parents play a significant part in making you who you are, good or bad.  For me, it was all good.  For those of you who still have your mothers, give them the biggest hug and kisses that you can (oh, I forgot you aren’t supposed to, due to the COVIT-19). Well, just let them know that you love them the best that you can.  For those of you who are like me, and do not have your mothers here with you anymore, we can still honor them.  Thank you, Mom!  May God bless you and keep you this Mother’s Day.  Reminder, it’s also the last day of turkey season, too.
